1. Who we are

Bora Waves (bora-waves.com) is an unofficial fan-made web app that lets you create and share BTS lightstick lightshow sequences. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by BTS or HYBE.

2. What we collect

• Email address — used to create and log in to your account.
• Username — displayed publicly alongside sequences you share.
• Sequences you create — stored and, if marked public, visible to all visitors.
• Usage data — page views and general analytics via Google Analytics (anonymous, aggregated).

We do not collect payment information, phone numbers, or any sensitive personal data.

3. How we use your data

• To authenticate you and manage your account.
• To display your username on sequences you choose to share publicly.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data storage

Your account and sequence data is stored securely via Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. Authentication uses session cookies stored in your browser.

5. Cookies

We use cookies solely for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Google Analytics uses anonymised data and does not identify you personally.

6. Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can also make any of your sequences private or delete them from your account page.
